Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Called due to sewer pump weekend emergency and they came right away. David C. was very nice and professional and went above and beyond to help locate the issue including having a supervisor run a camera to locate the system buried in my front yard. The pump was 7yrs old and still working using a manual off/on, so they told me to call them back once a new pump is needed (and even recognized that the current pump doesn’t appear to be the right fit for size of the piping up to the city sewer line). Very thankful for their fast and friendly response to the sewer pump issue!!

Mr Doug is one of the coolest plumbers I’ve ever met. Accesses the situation comes up with a solution and jumps in there to fix it. Is courteous, even when you ask a dumb question. A joy to see him when he comes because I know he want leave me stranded on a job for a day or 2. Always honest with me and I like that these days. We had Roto-Rooter do some sewage drain work about a year ago or so, and our sewage drain is directly below our main water line. Just a few days ago, that water line completely busted, and it was likely caused by them digging down to the sewage drain last year. We called them out to fix the water line, and they charged $400 per hour (to dig 3 feet down with a shovel) and tacked on another $400 for the repair. At most, it was about 4 actual man hours, but they charged us 6 man hours. Because of the likelihood that they damaged our water line from the previous work they did, and the fact that they charge more than double the high end of the average range of plumbing work, I cannot recommend this company to others and will not use them again.
