Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

William S. was phenomenal to work with today. He was respectful, patient, and very knowledgeable about all of my leaking faucet fixtures. He gave me his professional recommendations to help me save time and expenses going forward. I'm already set to use him again to replace some parts soon. Meanwhile, he educated me on Roto-Rooter's own pipe treatment that even exterminators like and I can't wait to let it do its wok overnight. Would highly recommend! Service: Faucet repair

Downgrading rating. Initial service was fine. Technician was great. Dispatch was disorganized and not entirely forthright about timing but service itself was good. A few weeks later, we’ve got another blockage that resulted in substantial regurgitation of waste into the basement. I called for emergency service which they advertise as being available 24/7/365. Was told nothing available until 8-9 next day. Not optimal but acceptable. 9 came and went. I called for an update and was told there was an emergency meeting and it would be no more than an hour until they were on the way and we would be the first job. 10 o’clock and I call back and am first told that my technician was out on another job. When challenged on this I was told my tech was still in a meeting. I’m losing work hours over this. Emergency service NOT actually available and they do not prioritize standing behind their work. We had Roto-Rooter do some sewage drain work about a year ago or so, and our sewage drain is directly below our main water line. Just a few days ago, that water line completely busted, and it was likely caused by them digging down to the sewage drain last year. We called them out to fix the water line, and they charged $400 per hour (to dig 3 feet down with a shovel) and tacked on another $400 for the repair. At most, it was about 4 actual man hours, but they charged us 6 man hours. Because of the likelihood that they damaged our water line from the previous work they did, and the fact that they charge more than double the high end of the average range of plumbing work, I cannot recommend this company to others and will not use them again.
