Rowland Air was the fourth company we interviewed for our AC replacement. During the first visit, service advisor Eric Haymann did a survey, measured the square footage of each room (no other companies did that), and asked us as many questions as we asked him in order to recommend the best options for us. Eric’s thorough, detail-oriented approach really stood out and gave us great confidence in the company. He also kept us posted in every step throughout the process. On the day of installation, a team led by Fredo arrived on time, and worked in a very efficient, well-orchestrated manner. It was a pleasant and rewarding experience working with the company. I reached out to 4 different HVAC companies. While all the quotes were relatively close I decided to go with Rowland. The reason was simple. The other 3 companies just came out look at what I had and told me what I needed then gave me a price. Scott from Rowland came out looked at what I had and then spent almost 2 hours going over different pricing and options. One of the major things he covered was the permit requirement with subsequent follow up by a 3rd party to make sure the work was done according to the new laws. Not one of the other 3 companies even mentioned the need for a permit nor what laws needed to be followed to be in compliance. Scott made it easy to pick a company that I feel comfortable with and they’re also backed by Costco. Work begins on November 28 so I will do a follow up review about the installation process and how it went.
Our home was built back in '88. With the original FAU/AC, we decided to upgrade before new regulations forced higher prices. Couple of bids later, we settled on Rowland. It was the best decision we ever made. They promised two days work, and they finished in 2 days. Everything was done correctly and the workers were extremely professional & nice to converse with. So nice, that we bought them lunch on the second day. Their office staff answered any question quickly and efficiently. Their technicians were here on time and left no trace of their work. The end product was 30 to 40% more efficient and our house has never been cooler.
