Tugwell Roofing Co. - Chico Roofing Company

I did not do business with this company after getting a $325 base + $75/hour quote just to show up to start work on possibly finding a leak. In Chico, In town. This is not an off-grid property 100 miles from the nearest road. This is price gouging. I kept calling other vendors and got Affordable JC roofing to go out-they went for free, found the problem-same day, and are working on what repairs are needed to stop the leak. for a price less than the cost of the visit by 'tugwell' not sure what they are 'tugging' but im never suggesting them!

Be aware: I made a call to have someone come out and look at a leaky roof on an all metal building. If you can believe it... they wanted $350 just for the basic charge to come to the house and then it was to be $75 per hour plus materials for any work they would do. The former is outrageous and the latter more reasonable. These guys need to be reminded that they are simply roofers not lawyers.

These guys did a great job starting from calling to request a quote through cleaning up after themselves and to be honest after me. They left my yard in better condition in one area than it was when they came. And my roof is amazing and beautiful.
