Mike Minnick Roofing

I had a great experience with Minnick Roofing. I was given a referral from a trusted contractor that my partner has used for years in the property management business. I dealt with Ken who was great. He even came to CRMC emergency parking lot to meet with me to sign contract and choose materials, while my partner was going through some medical issues. The job was started within days and finished in a few days, including having city inspector out twice to inspect the job. I also dealt with a couple of the gals in the office over the phone and in person and they too were a pleasure to deal with. I'm very happy with my new roof, the cost for the job (got 2 other quotes thousands higher) and the interactions with all employees. AH, Fresno

Received a quote for a leak repair on a tile roof that had never leaked for over 20 years before and had no visible damage. The quote was nearly $3,000. I called another roof repair service and was told that the only problem was that dirt and leaves had built up on the metal valleys and it just needed to be cleaned off. He did the work for $175 and there is no more leak. One positive thing (the reason I gave 2 stars) about Minnick is that he suggested I drill some holes in the ceiling where the water was coming in to stop any further damage. I had actually already done that, but at least he was trying to help. I just don't know how his estimator could come up with a repair quote so far out of line.
