Heroes Design & Build East Bay

I have properties that I rent in the bay area and needed repair for water damage in one of them. Being from our of state it can be hard to find people you can trust to do the work. I reached out to this organization and am very happy that I did. They were very communicative throughout the whole process and got the work done quickly. At the end they sent me photos and an invoice that I was able to pay online. I will keep them in my contacts for any future maintenance. 10 stars for the Handy Heroes crew!!

I had them fix 3 sections of drywall. 2 turned out really well but the third I thought was just ok. I guess I’ll live with it rather than have them fix it just because I have no time since I’m moving. My biggest issue was probably that they quoted me $1000 for all 3 pieces to be fixed with half a days work. They said they’d remove the existing drywall that a previous handyman put in wrong and have to replace it to fix it up correctly. Long story short, they didn’t have to and it took only 2 hours to fix using the existing drywall. The cost was still $850, and looking back on it, I find that to be extremely expensive considering they didn’t remove the existing drywall. I think right now it’s just hard for them to fully assess the job considering they do FaceTime video appointments. If they were able to come to my place physically, they probably could have seen than the existing drywall could have been used. Service: Drywall repair

The handyman showed up right on time and was very friendly. He adjusted the latch on an exterior door that kept it from closing securely and he removed the door leading from the garage that was sticking, trimmed the bottom and replaced the door. Both are working perfectly. He cleaned up before he left.
