Kevin responded to my message right a way with a phone call (yes, a call) and it was easy to get scheduled with him. During our meeting he was professional and personal. He gave me alot of details about the lighting update, made suggestions and gave me the pros and cons of my project. His input definitely help me make an informed decision about the lighting changes that I had in mind. He also diagnosed and repaired several electrical outlets that we had stopped using because they sometime sparked and crackled. I liked that he explained and showed me why we were having the problem. The cost of the repair was very reasonable. We've scheduled another day for the lighting updates. I give him 5 stars. If you need an electrician, definitely give him a call. Kevin installed a car charger for our incoming electric car. He also replaced a defective GFI switch in the garage, replaced two light switches in our home, and replaced the housing for a wall plug in our downstairs bedroom. KJ's Custom was fantastic. New to home ownership and the El Sobrante area I landed on KJ's and he was out here in just a few days to take a look at an electric hookup for my washer/dryer that I was not confident was up to par (old home owner had a two to three prong adapter plugged in) The service was fantastic, he took time to explain what he was doing/looking for and we then quickly went over my home inspection report to get a sense of what was, if anything, critical or those that could wait (as any homeowner will know it becomes a list of priorities when you tackle what the new house needs).
