We needed to replace the original duct work in our '72 vintage home in Walnut Creek. One of our goals (among many) was to find a way to install a cold air return in the back of the house for comfort and to allow similar temperatures throughout the house regardless of which room we were in. We talked to four (4) very well known, high-end HVAC contractors, and only one offered a solution--AJ Heating. The other contractors stated that our cathedral ceiling prevented the installation of a cold air return in the back of the house; some of the contractors talked a good game, but couldn't deliver. Others were only partly engaged with us. Jose diagnosed our broken AC on the hottest day of the year. Another guy the day before tried telling me we'd have to replace the whole unit ($6k+). Glad Jose figured it out for a few hundred... Definitely knows his stuff and the system is working great now.
