We used Advanced Home Repair through the Lowes website when we purchased a new toilet online. Eva immediately called us to set up an installation time - just 2 days later! From then on we communicated and confirmed our appointment through text messages. Jason arrived on time and did a great installation job, even vacuuming after! Spoke with Jason in depth last Friday about needing ceiling repairs in several rooms before putting my house on the market. He was very friendly and knowledgable. I texted a confirmation of my appointment this morning, which was scheduled from 2-2:30 today. His "assistant" Joe responded 3 hours later and extended my appointment from 2:30-4:00. Not a problem. Here's the major issue: 30 minutes before my appointment, the "assistant" texts me that they charge a $125 non-refundable service fee. At no point did Jason mention this in our initial conversation, nor did his "assistant" mention it earlier that morning or in the afternoon when I tried confirming my appointment. That information is not even listed on the website. I wouldn't feel so bad if I had not taken off work for this appointment.
