The tech was able to identify the cause of the smoking at the 220 volt receptacle of the dryer, and found that the dryer required a 40 amp circuit when the original receptacle and power cord were only rated at 30 amps, thus a sparking/smoking hazard. He supplied the correct cord and changed out everything to meet the correct requirements. Services: General repairs, Electrical panel repair
