About 4 months ago, we had a new AC/heating unit installed by We Care. We spent more than 20k on the unit and the unit started to break down last week. There was no cold air coming out. We contacted the company. They said no one was available until after 2 days. When technician finally came, she said we have to spend more than $300 to have a Hard Start kit installed. We found it unreasonable as the unit is only 4 months old and we already have to spend more to fix it. In addition, days after the installation, there were already issues with the thermostat which can’t be turned off. A couple of technicians came and didn’t know how to resolve it. Since we felt it was unreasonable to be charging us more for the parts on a new unit, especially still within the warranty, we messaged the manager Peter again about the issue this morning and there was no response. As of now, our AC is still not working. It is difficult to survive in this heat without a working AC especially we have guests, smal
First off, We Care came in with a solid price and product. Compared to other bids, We Care is competitive and also has the Lennox product. Where We Care, slipped was in closing out the install, there was an issue with the thermostat, we were told, that the office would get back to us when a new thermostat would be replaced. We had to call and text the salesman on Monday. I waited all morning, anticipating a call, I waited till noon. Think about it, I am having to call them to find out what the next steps are. All this time, we are getting emails daily asking for us to sign off that the installation was completed. It was not completed. It gets better, after scheduling a time to install a new thermostat, a week later, We Care sets up a time between 10am to noon on the following Friday. Well we get a call at 11am, and notified that the the installer was sick? Wait, what? At 11am, they realize that someone called in sick while we waited around! We found We Care through Costco. We were confident that if Costco is entrusting their customers to We Care then they have to be reputable and trustworthy. Malachi started the process with the inspection and provided a thorough estimate outlining our choices. We were able to reach him to answer our questions even after the inspection. Eddie and his team completed the work. They were respectful of our property and put down a drop cloth from the front door to the attic entrance. They were polite and kind. We are very pleased with the work and highly recommend We Care. We look forward to many cool and comfortable summers! ☀️
