ARS/Rescue Rooter Plumbing Sewer Drains

Supposedly provide emergency services. They said they'd be out at 8am but 3 hours later they still hadn't showed up. Switched to TaskRabbit because they never showed. Extremely unprofessional.

My husband and I bought our house about a year ago. The home has an apartment attached we rent out. Well, the first weekend our new tenant moved in there was a horrible sewer smell. It’s bad enough to have a problem in our own home but the stress magnifies when it’s with a tenant. We called ARS Rescue Rooter and they came out within a few hours of our call. Our main contact throughout the whole process was Ray. He was extremely thorough trying to rule out everything it could possibly be before recommending we get the camera to check out the pipes. Sure enough our pipes had backed up to our rental unit and required replacing old 1950s cast iron pipes beneath our house to the main sewer line. They provided a quote and came back out with a crew the next day! The whole project was huge but they really worked so quickly and efficiently over the next week to resolve the problem. My problem was a dishonest receptionist. Called and made an appointment for a tech to show up at 8-9am on monday 11/21, which was a NO SHOW. The receptionist called me at 9:19am and left a message that "she's called me several times and left me several messages." She only called once and left 1 voice mail; STRIKE #2. I called her back at 9:30am and she blurted the same thing as her voicemail "that she's been trying to reach me all morning to reschedule": STRIKE #3. Then i ask, when is the next schedule appointment and she says "oh, i don't know, so let's do a touch and go and i will call you when i know, OK?" STRIKE #4. Honesty would pay off far better for the company's reputation. I canceled and called someone else.
