GIV HVAC Installation & Repair

Earlier this year we had our A/C system replaced by GIV and I waited until our first really hot few weeks to write a review. In short, I couldn't be happier. These guys seriously know their stuff. They advised me on every decision, weighing pros and cons, working within my budget, and most importantly discussing what would be the BEST option for my home. The installation is SUPER clean and professional, way better than the previous system. They even managed to divert excess pressure into the garage, giving a cooling vent and now providing A/C into our half finished garage, which helps keep the room above much cooler. Our energy bill has been dramatically lower and the temperature much much better. Honestly, I can't recommend these guys enough. They do great work, are honest folks, and care deeply about the quality of their craft.

We have an outdoor patio fireplace that had been giving us trouble for a few years and reach out to GIV HVAC whom handles our Heating and Air Conditioning. While, they don't service fireplaces, I asked Igor to come out and take a look. He came out on time and reviewed the unit in detail. He explained that there are 2-D cell batteries behind the switch that have to be updated periodically as they may run out of juice. He also showed me the thermistor and explained that it's used to detect if the fireplace overheats. There's a very small reset button on the back of the thermistor which needs to be pressed (at times even when loose - press hard). He was able to provide insight into the unit maintenance as well as things to look at should I have trouble in the future. Professional. Thorough. Knowledgeable.
