I used Lewis plumbing for some basic household plumbing services. Their customer service is not good. They didn’t call me to let me know that the plumber was not showing up on the scheduled day. I called to find out where he was and they said “oops we should have let you know he isn’t coming today”. I rescheduled his visit for two days later and took the morning off of work. When he didn’t arrive as scheduled I called the office and was told that he had an emergency and wasn’t coming as scheduled. They couldn’t tell me when he was coming and did not care about the inconvenience and lost work that they caused me. They were impatient and condescending on the phone. At $125-$150/hour I would like much better customer service. I will not use Lewis Plumbing again and cannot recommend them. Services: Toilet repair, Water heater installation, Shower repair

AVOID LEWIS PLUMBING AT ALL COSTS! I don't generally leave negative reviews, because people make mistakes, but Lewis Plumbing has been a MAJOR money ($15,000) and time vacuum (not to mention the ongoing plumbing issues) for us; because I found them on Google, recommended them to our HOA, and contracted them based on the positive reviews, perhaps this review can save others from losing thousands of dollars to Lewis, too. Especially when the issue results in ongoing raw sewage spills. We live in Santa Barbara, and at this point, we're in for about $15,000 to Lewis Plumbing. The issue that we paid for (and keep paying for), which is a raw sewage spill, still isn't resolved. If we had only paid for the band-aid "fix it, but we understand that we aren't addressing the larger issue" each time, it wouldn't be such a deal. But we paid that a lot, and then paid them $12,000 to fix the larger issue. One year later, we are still paying them to come back and deal with the initial problem on a regu

Our Navien tankless water heater -- normally awesome -- had begun to turn off in the middle of a shower. Matt from Lewis Plumbing came out next day, listened to the symptoms, and diagnosed the problem in about 5 minutes. He explained what was happening, and fixed it with a very inexpensive part. I was so impressed I asked him to do a service on the unit and also our other tankless water heater.
