Jerry’s Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning

I used Jerry's Plumbing previously, but it was several years ago. I was pleased with the job completed and the price charged, or I wouldn't have called them again. I was surprised today to find out that they charge by the job, not an hourly rate. This truly seems like a potential rip-off because while most companies charge by the hour, and you theoretically get what you pay for, this company charges the set fee. I suppose this is okay if it takes the technician longer to repair than expected. It wasn't disclosed when I called in for service. It was disclosed when the technician arrived. The fact that a person needs a job completed and you schedule a time, not many want to take the time to reschedule and wait more. That said, I went ahead with getting the job completed. Jerry's fixed my heating which was great. But then we had a slab leak that we needed help with. They have been unhelpful and nickeling and diming at every turn. we already paid them to figure out it was a slab leak. When I tried to schedule a walkthrough they wouldn't even consider it until they knew how they would be paid and would only give a quote if they did another walk through which we'd be charged with too. I was disappointed that they couldn't help.

I hired Jerry’s for my non working water heater. They installed and then uninstalled the new unit because they required pmt at time of service. It was not conveyed to me verbal or in the invoice. Very rude and non professional, very poor customer service when I tried to discuss the lack of communication with them. Never use. Very expensive too. Service: Water heater repair
