We realized the movers' truck broke the main water pipe only when they were leaving around 5:30PM. Called around for service: Only A&R picked up the phone saying a tech would call back. The tech did but he had 3 more emergencies to handle so suggested we call Call Am water to turn off the valve (which is what Cal am water prefers) and the repair could take place the next day. The next day Alden from A&R came to fix our problem. Shannon on the phone had explained clearly what the procedure would be depending on the type and depth of the pipes. Then we received a call 15 min before Alden's arrival (we were still renting elsewhere). Alden explained exactly what the problem was and what he would do to fix it. He also suggested to call Cal amWater to fix something in the outside box. He put the note on the invoice so that I would not forget. An appointment was made immediately by the professional, reliable and customer friendly staff at A&R. Robert was sent to our home to unclog the shower drain. He did an excellent job! I've used A & R Plumbing three times over the last several years and I've had nothing but good experiences each time. The first time I called them was to fix the incomplete job done by another company. A & R came out in the middle of a rain storm, did the job right, and did it for a fraction of the price the other company charged to do it wrong. Each time, they have delivered the best service for the best price. They are friendly and professional. I can say that at this point, they are the only plumbing company I will call.
