This is going to be lengthy - I called Elite Rooter for a clogged kitchen sink as they offered an online fee of $50 cost for rooter service. The technician, Christian was very friendly and professional, but he told me it would cost more to clear the pipe due to the accessibility of the clean out (under the sink). The quote was then raised to $289. I was in a panic to clear the clog (my house is under some construction) so I agreed to the fee. The technician attempted to clear the drain with no luck and then indicated I’d need a power flush of some sort for around $1500 (less the 289 that I paid). He then packed his tools and left. I responded to the customer svc person that the sink was still clogged so the technician came back the next day and tried again, to no avail. Two additional employees came out and recommended a new clean out be installed for some $5,000. They then left - still had a clogged sink.
