Rooter Solutions Plumbers

I don't even know where to start. Definitely get other opinions before you sign anything with this company. They're only out to make money off of you. They like to give people the same song and dance to try to get them to spend as much money as they possibly can. I talked to another plumber who's been around this area for many years and he says that this company is known for ripping people off and telling customers they need the same thing done in the tune of tens of thousands of dollars. The other plumber I spoke with even made exact quotes of what the manager Sean at this company said to me. It was pretty eerie and very spot-on. Taking advantage of women and elderly people is not right and hopefully one day they will learn their lesson. CALL AROUND FIRST! We had a broken pipe at 7:00 pm Friday night resulting in water pooling in the front yard and water flowing down the street in our neighborhood. This was a continuous flow. Went to Rooter Solutions instead of Roto Rooters, considering it was a local Ventura company and they would be more honest as compared to a bigger corporation. Was totally wrong! While their technician, Jaime was very thorough, and did what he was told, the division manager- Ernesto Garcia who came out to give a quote totally took advantage of our dire situation and charged more than twice of the actual cost. Upon questioning the time the entire job would take, he mentioned 'it was an all day job'. The technician barely worked on the job putting in a couple hours of labor, the other 1.5 hours spent in getting the parts needed. Parts required would've cost minimal as there was just a part of a pipe leaking. We ended up paying a fortune for this minimal work. I had young kids in the house and we had to shut off our m

My sewer line to the street was plugged up. I called Rooter Solutions and had Martin out that afternoon. After multiple attempts to clear the line we realized that there was more to this problem than just a plugged sewer. Pablo came by and a camera was used to see that the pipe was separated where it transitioned from cast iron to clay. Martin began digging on Friday afternoon then Jose and Ricardo came Saturday morning and exposed the problem and put a temporary fix on it as the supply houses wouldn't be open for permanent parts until Monday. I had use of my plumbing through the weekend and on Monday Pablo, Jose and Martin were there to finish the job. The techs are all very courteous and professional and Pablo adjusted his original price as the work involved wasn't as time consuming as it was originally thought to be.
