My emergency situation costs me a ripoff. The cost of repairing a sliding patio door normally runs around $120-250, or probably $300-400 considering a recent hype in service businesses. But I paid $1000 for a replacement of two rollers and other minor repairs like adjustment, alignment, lubrication, cleaning and labor. (The entire job lasted one hour and 15 minutes.) Of course I hesitantly assented an initial offer. But it shouldn't have happened in the first place, if they are professionals. I felt like being robbed. Yes, it is my fault to let them work on my patio door. I just want to inform future victims of unnecessary financial losses. Look out!

Could not recommend MR Sliding Door Repair or their amazing technician Eli any more. Would give them 7 stars if I could. We had a 23 year old 8' x 5', VERY heavy sliding glass door that had been very difficult to open and close for a number of years. Had tried silicone lubricants and cleaning tracks to no avail. Repair was able to be scheduled the day after I reached out to MR Sliding Door. Was told estimate would be free and if we decided to move ahead with repair that it could happen the same day. Technician's arrival window was to be between 1:00 - 3:00. Eli called at 12:35 to say he was in route and arrived promptly at 1:00. After carefully checking the door, he confirmed that the bearings in the rollers were frozen, but also noted that over the years, the window frame had settled and that it might not be possible to get the door out off the tracks to repair. If this were to be the case, the only option to have the full window and sliding door unit replaced (to the tune of $8,000 +
