My house is 100 years old and last summer was unlivable, despite having central AC. I had two other companies come out and look at it and told me basically there was nothing they could do, or it would cost upwards of $12k to install ductless AC units. Kip from Sparks Heating and Air came out and fixed our AC within one day for under $100 bc he found leaks and replaced coolant fluid that the other companies missed. Highly recommended
This started out well with a quick response to my request for service from Sparks. It was downhill after that. The tech that came out didn’t have the tools he needed, guessed about everything that was wrong but, wasn’t sure about any of it. Googled things while he was onsite to figure out what was wrong. Got on a call with tech support and didn’t know how to check the power issues we were having, tech support was very frustrated with him. After 2 hours, he finally left and said he’d come back later with the appropriate tools. He “guessed” it was a blown capacitor, out of Freon (Freon was full), massive leak that would require a brand new unit (again, Freon was full), power issue and blown circuit board. None of which he could verify. My husband called the owner Tim, asked for another tech to come out with possibly more experience with our unit. Tim didn’t see the unit, didn’t work on it, has no idea what’s wrong with it and just wanted to upsell us on a brand new unit instead. I wo
Wow! I am so impressed. I asked in a Facebook group for recommendations to get my furnace looked at. I had a really bad experience with the last company. Tim Sparks reached out to me directly and was able to get me on the schedule very quickly. The person that came was so kind, explained and showed me everything, and did a really great job of making sure everything was okay with my unit. He was so kind and patient. They made the whole experience very easy and as pleasant as possible. They have earned a customer for life. I will gladly make a referral for this company any time.
