Aire Serv of Shelton

I don't recommend it. On 7.27.23, a tech came to diagnose a leaky condo AC. He turned out to be a one-trick pony: charge the system for $700 (2lbs of R410a) or replace an evaporator coil for $3,000. No leak search. No documented gage readings on the diagnostic report. Nothing. I paid $100 for this guesswork and decided not to deal with Aire Serv. I reached out to another company out of Wallingford, CT. I paid $40 to eliminate a possible leak and to charge the system. My AC is fixed now. By the way, their price was $300 to charge. The total was $570.

I have a unique Unico HVAC system. Aire Serve of Shelton was one of the few places familiar with the high velocity air handlers I needed to replace. They did a great job at that along with replacing my central, 3-zone boiler, water heater, and 3 exterior condensers. The work was done quickly at a fair price. I highly recommend them.
