I would give zero stars if possible, but you have to give at least one to post a comment. Without question, the worst fuel company I have ever dealt with and you REALLY have to go overboard (good or bad) for me to bother to write a review. Lazy, rude, condescending, flippant, arrogant, indifferent are the appetizers. For the main course try incompetent with shady business practices bordering on criminal. I will skip dessert. After going through HELL and thinking no company could be this bad...it must be ME, I called in another service company. In 1 phone call, I found another local company that is so amazing that I could not believe I put up with Sound Energy's outrageous behavior for as long as I did. For starters, the new company came out and found over 3 feet of compacted soot and debris in the furnace chimney. Imagine how many years my annual cleaning was not done correctly. I cannot speak too highly of Sound Energy. Several years ago when we moved to Darien the real estate agent recommended them as a fuel oil supplier. A couple of years later we had a different outfit do an annual inspection of our central air conditioning prior to summer and they told us of a “faulty part” that would cost $2,000 to replace. The explanation didn’t sound right and we decided to get a second opinion from Sound Energy and were told that no such “repair” was required. Ever since we have found them honest and reliable. When they make a repair I feel confident it was done right and fairly.

I've worked with Sound Energy for over 20 years. They're the best. Nicest sevice guys. My HVAC system is totally problem free when all my neighbors seem to have problems much more frequently. Sound Energy is doing something right and keeping my home and my family comfortable all year long.
