Mr. Handyman of Upper Fairfield County

The project was to replace some missing and rotted wood siding shingles and to stop the skylight from leaking. The handyman was nice and he found replaced many shingles that I did not know required replacing. He also caulked one of the skylights that has been leaking on and off into the ceiling of the house. He was at my home during the estimated time period and did not stay late because he got it done! I felt bad because it was really cold that day and looked cold working out here. I plan to call again for more projects in the spring of 2023.

Our deck needed some love and attention. Decided to give Mr Handyman (upper Fairfield County) a try for the first time after reading many positive reviews. I was not disappointed. Technician arrived on time. We discussed and agreed the work required. He was quick and thorough and cleared the site well when he finished. Everyone I dealt with was helpful, professional and courteous. Would definitely consider using Mr Handyman again.

My experience with this company was nothing but a waste of time. I called the office to have someone install two replacement windows, he gave me a quote for the labor that sounded appropriate and scheduled a day for someone to come out and take measurements. The scheduled time slot came around the next week and I’m waiting there for nothing because no one ever showed up. I called the office and spoke to someone the next day, “it was a scheduling error” …. Ok sure, fine we’ll reschedule for a couple days from now. I get to my home at the time slot and someone actually showed up! Nice guy, he took the measurements of the window and what not, told me I’d be contacted in the morning with a more information. It’s been over a week and I’ve heard nothing from them. Maybe because it is a small job and they don’t stand to make all that much money off of it they chose to throw me on the back burner but if that’s the situation you should at least communicate it.
