At first, this company was great. They were professional, clear, and very informative about the conversion from oil to gas we are doing in our home. However, when it came time to provide the quote for the conversion, they seemed to not realize the requirements for the town. At first, they were off $500 because of the permits required for the conversion. Not a problem. We hadn't signed the contract yet and the permit fees made sense. After signing the contract and making the 50% deposit on the service, we were informed that $3,400 was going to be added to the quote because the town required a two-day gas test, which would require an extra day of labor. I understand that everyone is human and that mistakes are made sometimes. However, we had already signed the contract and paid the deposit. This mistake should not have been on us to pay. We were dealing with an old and failing A/C system during a sudden heat wave, exacerbated by “unhealthy” air quality issues. In spite of busy seasonal demand, Don worked to accommodate us, scheduling the job promptly. Patrick and Chuck arrived right on time; they were pleasant and highly professional, and set about installing the new system efficiently, and in a careful and craftsmanlike way. During the job, Don came by to observe and also to answer any questions we might have. As he had originally estimated, our new A/C was up and running smoothly, the work area left neat & clean, all within a 4-hour timespan.
