Being a property manager, I'm very familiar with JK Johns Roofing and Sheet Metal. I have used them on many roofing projects. When it came time to re-roof my own home, they were my roofer of choice. We needed to replace our cement tile roof with a shingle roof. Although JKJ was not the cheapest quote we received, they were extremely competitive and came highly recommended by a real estate agent and neighbors who had used their services. I live out of state, and they were exceptionally responsive and attentive during our planning process of deciding on color and type of shingles, etc. I worked with Josh who was the most honest, amicable, and professional person I've had the pleasure of dealing with. He promised me an installation date, and although Hurricane Ian occurred in the meanwhile, and I know he was receiving pleas for service down south, he kept his word and the workers showed up on time. They were so EFFICIENT!!!! They started early, worked diligently through each day to remove my tile roof (which was no small feat), behaved courteously and installed my new roof. I recently had a standing seam Gavalume roof installed on my home by JK Johns Roofing & Sheet Metal. It took a little longer than I expected, the start date and install (my only experience was with a shingle roof... and bad installers) but it was so worth the wait. Especially for a roof that will last the rest of my lifetime. The total experience from estimate to final inspection went smoothly. I had plenty of questions and concerns as I had limited knowledge on metal roofs but Joe was gracious and answered every one of them...and the follow ups.
