Duncanson Electric Co -- Joe the Electrician

I thought I was in big trouble when my breaker box in my house started smoking the day we arrived in Florida for the winter. A neighbor recommended that I call Joe. He coame over, checked out the situation, turned everything off, and said he would need some parts that he didn't carry on his truck. Half hour later he was back with everything he needed. He went to work and two hours later had us up and running. I think he charged us fairly. Thanks Joe.

Joe was in my home for just 10 minutes. He diagnosed my dimmer switch repair immediately. He could not do the actual repair since he did not stock a new dimmer switch on his truck. He walked me through fixing it myself. For a total of 10 minutes in my home he charged me $110. After speaking with 3 other electricians I was told that the visit should not have been more than $80. Shame on me for not asking him what his service call charge would be ahead of time! Do not make the same mistake! Ask first!

Mr. Duncanson quickly responded after hours to an urgent electrical situation involving my main breaker. His professional knowledge and very personable attitude minimized my fears and he made the necessary repairs on the spot. I will use Joe's services again and strongly recommend him to to anyone.
