Jose and Tristian from Schmitt came to my home to replace my A/C unit (indoor & outdoor) I was very impressed with their professionalism ,and craftsmanship… Very polite ,and took great care in keeping my home clean during the change out.Very pleased with the unit instal.. resolved all the issues I had with the original unit installation which lead to my A/C issues. Took his time to explain what the issue was and solved it with professionalism and tact! I felt like I was his only job for the day and it was miserable outside today. Tech Michael didn't know how to fix unit, so he told me to put a bucket by line with ac float emergency shut off. To catch water. Then he blamed builder for bad pedestal built. He wanted me to pay $1500 to pull unit out and rebuild wood pedestal. The unit is solid and no water on wood to damage it. Builder came and said nothing was wrong with wood pedestal. Builder called schmitt and they said tech Michael will come back out and flush lines and pressure them. Michael called and refused to come back and said builder needs to fix bad pedestal first. I had to call out another ac company to repair my unit. Which they did a great job, because of the new company i have ac. I have a 10 yr parts and labor warranty with schmitt but still had to pay a service call fee even though unit wasn't repaired. Very very unhappy with this company and a unknowledgeable technician.
