Ace Handyman Services

Working with Steve from Ace Handyman Services was a pleasure. He gave us a fair quote and actually answered the phone unlike other companies we called. Several sections of our fence had blown down after Hurricane Ian and Tropical Storm Nicole and the employee (they are employees and not contractors) that was sent did a good job putting them back up. We were unfortunately out for the day so I wasn't able to tell the handyman in person that we wanted three of the posts replaced and not two (we had bought three posts and what we thought was enough cement for the posts, but perhaps there wasn't enough), but the two that were put up are very sturdy and straight, and the fence is back up. Steve was very fair with us when I explained this and even though the employee had spent more time than was initially estimated, stuck to the original quote because of the misunderstanding. Darrell of Ace Handyman Services did an excellent job painting an entrance door which was covered with years of grime and dirt that had eaten through the paint. He knew exactly which kind of paint to use and completed the job on schedule for less than the initial estimate. I would recommend him highly for any household painting job. This was a minor job repairing dry wall around a shower door. I fixed the leak causing the problem. However, I was not sure how to do the drywall repair and had enough sense to call for help rather than make a bigger mess. Domingo took care of it quickly and expertly. I appreciate his help.
