I have been trying to speak with the owners for a week and have been told I should be receiving a call from them. The owners haven’t contacted me, and in the meantime, the roof replacement HE Roberts did caused me damage to my property. The nails they used for the roofing coming through my porch ceiling, splintering the wood, and ruining a pretty recent paint job. These nails jut out around the entire perimeter of the house under the eaves as well. After speaking with the project manager about it, he basically said it was normal for that to happen on house of my age….which is not true. Downtown, East Hill, and North Hill are almost completely made up of houses the same age as mine, but don’t have nails coming out from the roofing job. I’ve spoken with other people in the industry and showed them the photos, and they confirmed that it is absolutely not normal- and it comes down to poor workmanship and using the wrong size nails.
