I reside in a condominium building in Naples, FL. We had some very serious humidity build-up in our common area hallways for many years. We consulted with a number of well respected HVAC contractors and consultants to try to alleviate the problem. Some said there is no effective solution for older buildings such as ours and others proposed solutions that seemed dubious at best. Only one contractor, Johnsons Air Conditioning, came forth with a thorough explanation of the ventilation system in our building and the need to use a particular type of cooling equipment that will supply 100% conditioned make-up air to the hallways calibrated to sync with the CFM of the building’s ventilation fans. When Johnson’s Rickie Sims presented this solution to our Board of Directors, representatives of other Naples HVAC contractors attended the meeting and took notes. Yesterday we left a message with their answering service. Today at 8 am they called back to schedule a visit. They came exactly when promised. The technician was great and had the A/C fixed quickly. During these times of the virus, he also adhered to the social distancing practices, for both of our sakes. We were extremely satisfied and highly recommend!
