Branch manager was rude, argued with me over email. Wants to charge you for an estimate when they're competitors are willing to do it for free. I'm not going to pay you to see if i want to hire you. That doesn't fly... I was unsure if i wanted this company before I solicited their proposal. After dealing with their branch manager Lucinda Burton, I'm confident I will not be using this company and will be going with the local competition. I have several free estimates from other companies. I'll leave the number of the one I end up going with so that whoever reads this doesn't have to throw their time away with Prestige Electric and can instead use a more qualified sub contractor.
Scheduled with them to have someone come out to look over a job and provide an estimate. Had a date and time arranged but nobody showed up when they were supposed to. About two hours after the person was supposed to arrive a technician called asking if the office had notified me that they would not be able to make it out. Nope. They said the office should be in touch the following day to reschedule, they did not call me to reschedule and I did not hear from Prestige Electric again. I had contacted three electrical companies, also All Phases and CDW, to provide quotes so Prestige eliminated themselves.
Needed to have our HVAC brought up to code. Multiple companies came out and quoted around $450. Prestige Electric was one of them, but the final bill came to $699.00. I attempted to contact the company via phone and email to determine why there was over a 50% difference in price. They NEVER responded to me, I would NOT recommend them based on that customer service.
