I had roof leak, Billy came out and gave me estimate of $ between 1K- 2K to fix the issue. He asked for 50% down payment before start of job for “material cost” he said. I gave the check which he cashed right away. He came removed roof tiles and done. He replaced a rotten portion of a fascia board with cheap soft 2X8 wood, did a straight cut in both ends with 1/4 to 1/2-inch gap to the old original wood and filled the gap with caulk which had shrunk the day after. Very sloppy job!!! 2 days later it rained and same spot leaked even worse. I contacted Billy all he said “ I can’t believe it’s the same spot, I will check it”. “Your roof is 16 yrs old and it’s about time to go bad”....wrong! Only 12 yrs!!! It’s not the age it your workmanship!! After numerous back n forth with Billy to no resolution I called the owner Kevin and he said he will take care of it. Never happened! I called numerous times to look for Kevin and repeatedly I was told he was on vacation and no one can make decision

Royal Blue has just completed work on the third house for me. The first one was a flat roof total re-roof at least 12 years ago. It has not leaked one drop. Many neighbors have used them as well due to my recommendation. There has never been a complaint. Naturally, they are the only people I will call for any roofing work. Their prices are fair, but more importantly, the work is done right. Even when dealing with tieing in to old materials. Very pleasant and up front to deal with. Never any problem with any call back.

We highly recommend Royal Blue Roofing! When we needed to replace our roof (tile and flat) we called Kevin Skelhorn who patiently explained everything about the roof replacement process and costs. We asked him to add clips/brackets to strengthen the roof to wall connection so that we could obtain insurance discounts with Citizens Windstorm Insurance. He suggested taking step by step photographs of the installation, which he did, saving us $1200 per year in insurance premiums! I want to stress that without these photos we might not have been able to prove to Citizens that the clips were properly installed, since the mitigation inspector could not adequately visualize the clips due to our very small attic space. Kevin's foresight and experience saved the day. The actual roofing process was quick and easy.
