I had the opportunity of working with William on getting roof repair done while the home was in escrow. They were booked 8 weeks out but managed to accommodate the tight schedule. I signed a contract in December of 2022 and was told my roof would be done in 8 weeks. It wasn’t completed until April, I understand many people need their roof done right now but I felt that I was given a date that they knew they couldn’t make, and I was not updated by the company when they realized they wouldn’t make the date they gave me. I only found out after calling several times to follow up. After my roof was done the soffit was supposed to be replaced too and I called several times to follow up on the soffit being repaired only to hear that they would get to it when they can. It is now 8 months after initial contract signing and they still have not completed the soffit, I ended up having to hire another company to finish the job that Douglass did not. I Would Not Recommend this place to do your roof at all!! The initial sales part was excellent, up to getting the work done. The work was slow to start and once started was at a snails pace! Half day start, full day next, week between, and only after our asking did they send someone out again. Metal sitting on our driveway, scratches on every sheet from the installers negligence. The owner (Steven) came out, once I made him aware of the scratches, contacted the manufacturer, and said he wanted them to come out and look before they continued. Two days later they are continuing to install. (Manufacturer was not made aware at this point) The owner said he wanted to get it all on and then have the manufacturer out to look. He sent the manufacturer pictures once installed and their response was it should have never been installed scratched. They should have been called and they would have replaced them. The manufacturer said the scratched panels all needed to be replaced. DRI then sent one
