Jones & Sons Plumbing

We have used Jones and Sons for 15+ years and up until yesterday have been pleased with their work and the value of their service. But not any more. I called to have someone come out and replace the fill valve on one of my toilets. Simple job, done it myself many times but this time decided to let the professionals do it. Nice gentleman, Dwayne, came out the next day. Told me couldn't use the parts I had purchased when I originally planned to do it myself. Not a problem. Proceeded to tell me it would be $350+ to replace fill valve and flapper. I know the cost of everything has gone up but $350 for parts and 15 minutes labor is outrageous. I said thanks but no thanks and sent him on his way. I called the office to complain and was told that Mike the manager would call me to try to make things right but have not heard anything. This was my first time using this company on a friends recommendation. I found the technician Tim to be very professional, courteous, very time conscious, and did a wonderful, fantastic job replacing my toilet and cleaning out my drain line. James was very professional, informative and patient with my questions. I have had problems with leaks, which are now fixed. My hallway bathroom is now working properly and I will actually be able to take a relaxing bath for the first time in a long time. I absolutely will call them again and reccomend James should anyone need any work done . *This was a second visit for outdoor plumbing. Will be having more work done . James does a great job. **this was the third visit for sink and stopper installation. Very happy with James' work and the price.
