Another great job by Tropic Air Conditioning: Thanks to Joe Harris, Rob the A/C tech and Racheal the office manager at Tropic Air Conditioning in Sarasota for the quick and affordable replacement of my air conditioner’s condensation pump. During the hot Fourth of July weekend, the old condensation pump that came with the house when we bought it in 2019 started making noises and later started dripping water. I called Tropic Air Conditioning late in the morning on Wednesday, July 5, and Rob (the big guy in bib overalls) squeezed me into his busy schedule and stopped by around 5:30 p.m. to diagnose the problem. He cleaned the old pump that was plugged with sludge and showed me how to do the same in hopes that the old pump wouldn’t need replacement. Two days later the pump was still not functioning property so Rob squeezed me into his schedule again and installed a new condensation pump at a price that was much lower than I expected.
