I used Shingle Star to repair/replace my roof damaged by the August derecho. They were able to come up and inspect the roof within a couple days of my contacting them. They made their estimate and contacted my insurance company to include items missed in the initial inspection by the insurance company. The work was completed in a timely manner considering the shortened daylight hours. I am very pleased with the quality of their workmanship and in the cleanliness of my yard when they had completed the roof. I dealt with Gabe at Shingle Star and had a great experience. I own a large Victorian rental unit that had some wind damage. I was new to filing an insurance claim, and Gabe’s knowledge of roofing and insurance got me a brand new roof. Initially the insurance adjuster was only going to cover a portion of the roof. Gabe stepped in and produced a 53 page report with pictures and measurements explaining to the adjuster why the whole roof needed replaced.
