Getting charged for a second dispatch fee doesn't sit right after we have paid to put in a new water heater. We were never informed about the $99 charge until we scheduled the follow up appointment to have the water heater put back in its original location. This is added as of 3/14/23. The next morning after they installed the water heater I went into the garage and got hit with the lovely smell of natural gas. They had punctured the gas line into the water heater on the install. I am happy with the tank itself but nothing else about this business.
Was told upfront of the $ 190.00 fee just to show up.. agreed because it was Sunday and we had a water heater leak. Tech got there.. advised we had a bad pressure tank and a bad to valve.. an addl 500.00 and he has was at our house literally for about an hour total. When I asked for a itemized receipt I was told that they don't do that because everything is flat rate, but the office would call me about it.. never got a call. I did the research and the parts were approx $. 100.00.. so all the rest was labor for the hour he was there. I work at a car dealership and understand the flat rate system, but I still have to provide my customer with an itemized receipt of what they paid for. This repair cost was extremely excessive. We just wanted to share how happy we were to have called Cloverdale Plumbing after discovering a leak in our water heater. Matt and crew responded immediately replacing it with a brand new one. There was a small issue with the thermostat running way to hot so Cameron was sent out and replaced it with a new thermostat, testing it to make sure everything was working correctly and to our satisfaction. Cameron, Matt and crew were extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with. Kudos to Cloverdale Plumbing for hiring knowledgeable people and placing an emphasis on excellent customer service.
