All I can say is wow! We got back from a week long vacation in Portland, Oregon tonight to find our AC unit not working and it was over 100 outside. Talk about a rude homecoming! We called Arctic Air as they had provided service for us before. Even though it was after hours, the answering service said they would have a technician call us as soon as they could. I wasn't expecting to hear back within 15 minutes - but that is exactly what happened. The technician Scott M. told me he could be at our house in about 5 minutes and sure enough he was! After quickly looking things over he said he needed to replace the capacitor, and run some tests. It took a total of 10 minutes and he was done, and cold air was once again flowing in my house. Now I realize we had some good luck in that Scott was near our house already and had basically finished for the day, and we caught him just in time.
