We have a HVAC system that's original to our 30-year-old house, and when it completely crapped out, we knew there was a good chance we'd have to have something major replaced. Most techs would have told us replacement was the only fix, but Steve replaced the dead capacitor and found a short in the control board. He made recommendations for us when we're ready to replace it, but suggested for now that we "run it 'till it's dead." Steve came out the morning I called, and his fee to fix everything was so fantastic that my budget-worried heart made me tear up a bit when he left.
