Wanted security lights repair and called Adams. Did a great job repairing the lights, very professional and responsive to phone calls and messages., providing clear explanations to my questions. Reasonable charges for the service. Overall, very satisfied with offered services, would not hesitate to contact them for any electrical work.

I called Adams Electrical Services located 4527 S. Drexel, to get an estimate because he’s in the area and upon his request I sent him a picture of the job. He responded with a price of $550 to move an electrical conduit up which is really ridiculous because this job would take maybe one hour or two at the most. It’s a shame when contractors try to take advantage of folks (especially females) thinking that we are desperate and don’t know any better. So typical and wrong!

Adams Electrical saved the day! I had a partial power outage in my home the day before Easter Sunday; not good. I called Adams Electricans to schedule emergency service. Dorian came out within the hour (actually earlier than he said) ran diagnostic tests inside the electrical panel in the basement and the outside meter. It was determined that the issue was a ComEd problem. Dorian had me call ComEd, he spoke to the rep directly to explain the issue, they came out the same day. (not to mention he waited in his car until they came) Once the guy was done, he ran to Home Depot to get a part to repair my kitchen outlet, he checked my fuse box in the basement once again and noticed I had an issue with some of my switches and a wire. He replaced them and recommended I replace the entire box, he also provided an estimate. Dorian was very professional, very knowledgeable about his craft not to mention his service charge was reasonable. I will definitely be using ADAMS ELECTRICAL again!????????
