Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

I used Roto Rooter once and they were great fixing my bathroom sink. I called them a second time and they were AWFUL! The technicians (not sure if that's what they're called but for this review I'll refer to them as that) were nice enough and seemed to have basic knowledge but not advanced enough. Every few months my tub drain starts draining slowly and I have to snake it, just the usual hair and soap scum buildup, never had a problem taking care of it myself. This last time though it suddenly went from slow draining to no draining. After multiple attempts to fix myself I called Roto Rooter. The technician came out and informed me that it would be $664 to rod out the drain. YIKES, but oh well had to be done. I go back to work in my home office and leave him to his work. He's in there for about an hour before he comes and tells me he can't get it to clear and another guy is on his way to see if he can help. Now I have two technicians in my house and neither of them can get it to work. T

I think the pricing of Roto-Rooter is a joke wanting $650 to Rod the drain toward the house only. The only reason they get 2 stars is Felipe made it out here promptly, and the quote was free. I thought he was cocky treating me like I have no understanding of the problem. I have lived in this house for 30 years. I know everything about it!! Ended up with a much better place at half the cost, plus they did the whole Main. Never will invite them back sorry to say.
