I never write google reviews, but I wanted to share my experience with Zimmerman Electric so that others could be warned! At first meeting, Zach and his team seem professional and knowledgeable. They are a new-ish company but claim to have a lot of experience. I called them to re-wire my kitchen, bathrooms, add can lighting in multiple spaces, add plugs where needed and update all the lighting fixtures in my renovation project. As the job went on, we started running into issue after issue and there always seemed to be excuses as to why we needed to pay more money for things happening that were "not their fault." The phrase that comes to mind is we constantly felt "nickel and dimed" for tasks that we initially discussed, but they claimed were not included in the initial quote. We don't expect perfection, but they installed sconces in two different heights on the same wall, multiple switches were installed crooked (their "fix" was to caulk around the switch plate so I wouldn't see how wo

I had Zimmerman install a ceiling fan and do all of the electrical work for my Mr. Cool Mini-Split HVAC. This saved thousands of dollars from having an HVAC company in Indianapolis do the work.
