We weren’t sure if we needed a new sump pump or if maybe the sump pump line outside the house was clogged. We just knew our sump pump wasn’t working as it should. With 3 days of rain on the way, I was starting to panic. Due to their availability, we initially called Roto-Rooter. They came out and gave us a quote of “up to $3200” to replace the sump pump and backup battery. I’ve never had a sumo pump replaced or even repaired, but a quick Google search revealed that a quote anywhere near $3k is ridiculous. With the clock ticking, I was frantically calling other plumbing companies. Superior Plumbing is actually who referred me to Joe Lillis Plumbing. I figure when one plumbing company refers you to another plumbing company, they probably know what they’re talking about. From the time I called Joe Lillis until we had a new sump pump installed, it was less than 3 hours…. and only $620. Of course, I know they might not always be able to respond so quickly, but regardless, they were timely,

The quality of work was fine however the cost was $646 to replace a Pressure Reducing Valve and $185 to replace a Entry Valve, my suggestion get another quote to compare prices.
