Roger and his assist were very professional, thorough and talked through options. They were able to get our drain unclogged fairly fast and efficiently.

I was very pleased with the speed of service and the quality of work performed. The technician arrived within two hours of my request, very courteous and did quality work. My issue is with the cost of repairs. The work was done in less than an hour and the supplies were around $50.00 (I priced them myself after the work was performed) and yet the charge was $415.00. I find that extremely high in relation to the level of work performed. I received a follow up call from Ace the next week and I relayed these thoughts to the caller. She was not at all interested in why I thought the price was too high and stated that's why they do up front pricing. As I explained to her I did agree up front to the repairs, but only because I was in the midst of other home projects and absolutely needed the work done ASAP. If I'm ever in need of a plumber again, I will definitely call another company. I recommend you do the same.

I will say that they were prompt in coming out to do the repair. However, their prices are OUTRAGEOUS!! They charge an $89 dispatch fee/ service fee. That is completely understandable and fair. However, the rest of the charges were ridiculous. They were in my house about 5-10 minutes. Despite telling them that the pipes under the house were the issue, they only looked at the toilet. They changed the flapper and the fill valve and left in under 10 minutes. They charged me $105 to change the flapper and ANOTHER $105 to change the fill valve. (These parts can be purchased for about $10 - $20 each at Lowes). So the total bill was $299.00 (plus a 3% credit card fee) for 10 minutes of work and about $25 - $30 of parts. I feel that they are severely overpriced and unfair in their billing methods. One toilet tank repair should not be charged as two separate repair jobs just because it required two different parts to be replaced at the same time. I don't recommend using Ace Plumbing of Lafayet
