Just had roofing system replaced by these guys. Did a GREAT professional job. Estimate was way lower than others. Quality products used per my choice. Salesman Alonzo was very ontime and helpful, no pressure. Work done earlier than expected. Complete cleanup and haul away. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

As an emergency physician I have encountered probably ~50,000 people administering care to patients from Louisiana to Florida and I’d like them all to know to think twice before doing business with Southside Roofing. I don’t know what kind of business Billy Savely and Coty Richard are running, but it ain’t an honest roofing company. Two months ago they told me they’d start in 6 weeks, which would’ve been reasonable. One problem: NEITHER of the two houses I had planned to get done with them even had materials delivered yet. NO THANKS. Why tell people a timeline you know isn’t feasible? Greed. Pure and simple. Meanwhile people like me have been doing everything to mitigate damage and get ready to renovate while waiting on a roof. Services: Roof inspection, Roof installation

Been trying to have roof replaced, need two days of rain free weather and I am ok with that, finally after many phone calls it was scheduled, but low and behold, day they are to start, crew is delayed in Lafayette due to rain. So in Lake Charles they are weather watchers but in Lafayette they are not. At time of looking for a roofing company, Southside was attentive and kept me informed, once contract signed silence at times with them keeping me informed. I had to initiate calls for updates. Even day before start date no call to say that schedule is set. I had to call to find out. The day of roof start they call to cancel, unacceptable. Would not recommend. They knew yesterday crew was delayed, but waited until morning of start date. Does not give me confidence in the quality of workmanship now.
