Comfort Engineered Systems

We ordered a generator in September 2021 and provided a hefty down payment much like another reviewer. Salesperson Geri C provided a delivery and installation date of March 2022. Once sold, Geri ceased to return all phone calls or text messages. Since that time, it took me (literally) 83 phone calls to get an update on my order. We received an update in late February and were told that our generator was in the warehouse and that Comfort Engineered Systems was going to start working on permits that week. When I called to follow up a week later, after 26 attempts, I was told that my generator was not in the warehouse, it had not been shipped and it was not due to be shipped until AUGUST 2022. Since that time, Ed Perez assured me that it would only take a few weeks to install once received and offered to review my home specs to see if a smaller generator would suffice and committed to following up the next day. We hired Comfort Engineered Systems to purchase and install a whole home Generac generator. We met with Ed, the owner of the company, and were informed from the beginning that wait for a generator was about 6 months due to this new Covid world we live in, where there is a shortage of so many products. Ed personally kept us informed on the progress of the order and actually delivered the generator ahead of the original estimated timeframe. Once received, the generator was installed very quickly. A very professional team poured a concrete slab to host the generator and the next day they returned to set up the generator and and run a gas line through out attic to connect the generator. The generator was beautifully installed. All of the electrical and gas lines that were mounted on the exterior of our house were done very nicely and the installation team was extremely professional and great with communication and instruction of how to use the generator and maintain the generator. H

The work crew were excellent. Always good to work with and very helpful. Very knowledgeable. 5 stars for the boots on the ground.
