Mobile Handyman

Jean was incredibly speedy (he was in the area already, came over within 25 minutes of me calling him). We needed a gigantic AC unit installed in our window and it required some intense work. Jean gave a fair quote and then started and finished the project in one go. He did a solid job and was quite friendly and honest. He gave us plenty of helpful advice as well. Definitely a good hire!

It was 90* today, and the forecast says 96* on Friday. I'm on a third floor apartment, so box stores like Home Depot and Lowe's won't offer air conditioner installation services -- first and second floors only. Our friends a few blocks over, also on the third floor, had an old air conditioner that they didn't need. I needed someone to schlep it down three flights of stairs, drive it a few streets over, schlep it up another three flights of stairs, and install it. I called up Gene yesterday, and he was able to stop by first thing this morning. An hour and a half later, everything was done with no problem. Gene was personable and worked hard -- will definitely hire him again.
