Bar-low Heating and A/C

My 20+ year old A/C was dead and overdue for replacement, so I tried two of the HVAC companies that send postcards every month. Both quotes were obscenely expensive, so I decided to try a few more quotes, including Mike at Bar-Low, who had provided a "life support" service call a few years earlier. Mike's quote saved me several thousand dollars, gave me a more efficient system and a high quality installation, was completed exactly when he promised, and at exactly the dollar amount quoted. I was a loyal customer for years but then this year, the owner canceled our first tune up appointment due to an emergency boiler installation. Then we made the second appointment. He came early to the second appointment and left because I wasn’t home. I was home for the agreed appointment time and sitting at home for hours only to find out he came early. He came early without calling me to tell me he was coming early. He was rude and unapologetic. Please think twice before making appointment with this company. It seems all they care about is going where the money is which is answering emergency calls instead of serving their loyal customers. He wasted my time twice and lost my business.
