We hired Newton Highlands handyman to help us out together our kid's Schwinn bike. We were quoted 1-1.5 hour at hourly rate of $125. The time quoted seemed excessive to me but since I had no experience of putting together bikes, I trusted the quote. Two men showed up on time, and assembled the bike in exactly 25 minutes. I was still asked to pay $125, which I did because I didn't want to cause a scene in front of my kid, despite the fact that the work took less than half the quoted time. When I called the manager, he then tell me that there is a one hour minimum. At no point during the initial quote conversation did they mention that there is a one hour minimum. Had they did, I would have prepared additional tasks for the handymen to fill up the hour. When I bring up this point, the manager basically told me he will talk to the "boss" and get back to me. He never did. We definitely won't be using their service again. Poor communication, dishonest, and no follow through with customer

After the suggestions of my colleagues, I elected to have the Newton Highlands Handyman Care do the repairs in my kitchen. My pipes are leaking and my faucet is always dripping water. Indeed the comments are true that this company was really reliable, efficient and prompt. Superb.
