They arrived at the correct time and recharged the. Refrigerant. Checked for leaks in the exposed areas. Apparently there was none observable. The mechanic subsequently called to explain that there could be internal leaks that could be figured out only upon a major 3-4 hour service. He also clarified that If the leak is in the coil, the a/c could be then declared non serviceable. I would have given five stars if the mechanic spoke to the owner directly when the door was not answered immediately and when he gave a assessment of the system immediately after the service Excel Mechanical was texting me messages about their mechanic being on the way, then they called me on the phone within minutes of when the mechanic arrived and the door was not answered for when the mechanic arrived. There were some anxious moments for me as the owner of the apt sitting remotely, until I learned that the door was answered in about 3 minutes mechanic gained entry in the apartment. I honestly don't understand the positive reviews here. Perhaps the worst experience I've ever had. Scheduled to arrive in the morning and didn't arrive until 6:30 pm. Diagnosed unit low on refrigerant, but didn't refill it and simply left. Follow-up calls/emails consistently ignored but sure are good at sending a bill. Repeatedly tried to get explanation and reschedule, but messages unanswered. Just awful and went with another service provider who found their diagnosis was wrong and the issue was a motor that had to be replaced. Note: The owner's response was laughable. First, my system didn't need refilling - nor was there ever an "environmental concern." Second, no "solutions" were ever offered. Third, a competent technician correctly diagnosed an issue with the blower motor, replaced it, and it is now working. And I give both positive and negative reviews, as warranted. Today the tech arrived late, but I had planned on being home so this was not an issue. I did receive text updates about the estimated arrival times. The last time the tech arrived right at 8am. (days change and repairs are not predictable so I plan accordingly) Aaron was extemely friendly, listened intently to the history of the unit and the items previously adressed before he arrived. The repair was made during the visit and the issue was thoroughly explained to me. Great value for the fees charged and I have added them to my phone as a company I will absolutely use agian and reccommend. Service: Repair HVAC
