Jim and his team were nothing short of amazing! Professional, knowledgeable and efficient. We had a new system improperly installed by a different company with lots of complicated issues. So we called Alvin Hollis to come out and assess what the problems were. Not only did they drive out of their service area to help us repair someone else's work, but they fit us in pretty quickly on their busy schedule.They got everything up and running the same day and everything has been working great since. I have used Alvin Hollis for heating oil delivery and oil boiler service since I moved into my house a few years ago. When you are a new customer, there is a deep discount on oil prices and on the service plan, however, even though I am no longer a new customer I am still keeping them for oil delivery and heating system service because they are that great! They fill up my oil tank when it needs filling, and they have a system to know when to do so so I never have to call and ask. The servicing is impeccable; they do a yearly cleaning and tune-up, and I've called them with a few issues which they fixed by replacing my oil line and some electronics on my boiler. Recently due to a mistake by a roofing company I had them come out to install an entirely new chimney for my boiler. I have been a long time customer (over 20 years). All calls placed to them are answered promptly and addressed efficiently. Oil prices are within the range of other companies. Deliveries made on time. Had new system replaced 2 years ago and oil tank replaced 1 month ago. Excellent service. The tank replacement workers were very respectful of me and my home. Completed the job and cleaned up behind themselves. All emergency calls I have placed were responded to ( even when it was something as simple as the switch wasn't on) with a smile and concern.
